SONAR 2016.11 Early Access is now available!

The Early Access Program is Now Live for the Upcoming Release of SONAR 2016.11
 
New Features:
  • Improved Built-in Audio Card Support (WASAPI Shared)
  • Lenses (Quickly adapt UI to only show elements that are relevant to a specific task or workflow)
  • Matrix View Enhancements
  • Melodyne Essential 4.1 Now Available
  • Melodyne Studio 4.1 Multitrack Support
  • Browser Notes tab (Synth Rack is now in it's own independent view) 
  • Improved New User Audio & MIDI Setup
  • The Bakery (Links in Start Screen and Help menu)
  • Synth Handling Improvement (Auto-remove Synth on Delete)

Fixes and Enhancement:
  • Various audio engine improvements for WASAPI Exclusive driver mode
  • Fixed glitching with WDM/WaveRT drivers on devices that have a prefered buffer size
  • Plug-ins are hidden behind floating windows when the floating window is focused
  • Dragging from Matrix to Clips Pane draws unexpectedly and drops in the wrong location
  • Full screen mode does not restore to original app size
  • SONAR Artist EQ Module had wrong text color
  • Undo Delete Synth does not reconnect  to the correct Synth in the Synth Rack
  • Re-doing a drop into the matrix view to create a cell does not restore color
  • Replacing matrix cells does not restore the original on undo
  • Clearing Step Seq pattern orphans Matrix Cells linked to the pattern
  • Preview in Loop Construction view does not always begin at the start of the clip
  • 32-bit Boost 11 is Uncategorized in the Plugin Database
  • Note head obscured when selected with right click lasso
  • Clef types inconsistent in the Staff View Layout dialog
  • LANDR is now downloaded from the Utilities Menu and is removed from the SONAR C3 download.



To participate, you can obtain the Early Access release via:
  • Cakewalk Command Center under the Rollback menu. Steps:
    • Start Command Center
    • Click the Settings button
    • Click the Check Now button
    • In the Connected Products list, right-click on the product or suite name you want early access to
    • Choose Rollback > Early Access 2016.11 from the context menu
  • Through your products download page, under "Available Downloads." Click the "Show Other Downloads" button to reveal the link.

 
 If you encounter any critical issues prior to official public release, post them to the Problem Reports Forum. Please include SONAR 2016.11 in the post title, and refrain from including issues not related to SONAR 2016.11 as they may get missed. We’ll do our best to lock posts as we confirm the reports.
