Cakewalk Sound Center

you guys are probably getting tired of my questions. anyhow, Now that I can use TTs-1 and use different channels I tried to enter Soundcenter that came with my MC7.
I selected the input same as tts-1  which is my pcr ch 1
output cakewalk soundcenter 1
channel cakewalk soundcenter 4
Bank 0
patch none,
I double clicked on the midi track to bring up the instruments and hit piano sub type acoustic piano, mini piano hall
It plays it fine. I recorded a little track and it recorded good,
I then inserted another mid track and did the same but changed the channel to sound center ch 2
I picked a bass instrument and recorded a little track to go with the other track
I played it back and both tracks played back with the bass
for some reason it changed both recordings to the same sound even though I had them on different channels.
any ideas?

    Yes.
Just when you get used to doing something one way, they go and change things!
