Pops and clicks

Editing bass lines (sequences/sample), into Wav file.then arranging cutting pasting. I get extremely close (zoom) but I still get some residual clicks and pops. Is there a way to remove them.

    Make sure that you are the cutting the wave file at the zero crossing. Quite easy to do but it makes a difference. Hope it helps.

    a very slight fade in/out on the clips can help too
