Adiós Manuel, thanks for the laughs...

 
Andrew Sachs, Fawlty Towers' Manuel dies aged 86.
 
Good to know his memory will live on long after we've forgotten about Russell Brand and Jonathan Woss.

    RIP, Andrew. He will be missed. Sorry to see him go.

    I happily lost so many weekends as a teenager, watching Fawlty Towers reruns on PBS.
     
    He is still a part of my life.
    Because I've got Spanish-speaking friends who don't get the references when I quote Manuel lines at them...
