SoftAmp PSA is my favorite so far.

Roth-Air is pretty good, too. It won't be replacing the iZotope exciter or FabFilter Saturn, but if you don't have  a fancy HF exciter this would be a nice addition to your coloring crayon box. Just don't go nuts with it, as using it on many tracks will end up sounding like the spaces between your toes feel after a day at the beach.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

I've been wanting a good loudness meter. This one looks good. Thanks for the heads up.

+1 on Youlean loudness meter.
 Pleasant, easy-to-read graphics.

Youlean Loudness meter is very nice but it crashed while using it in SONAR on me.   It was working but I fiddled a audio track (added a new audio loop I think) and it went down when I hit play.  Visual Studio had it as a crasher.  Has it been updated since the initial release?

The new 1.0.1 version of Youlean's Loudness Meter, hasn't crashed yet.  Seems to produce numbers very close and/or identical to iZotope's Insight.  Very nice.

I asked if the Salamander Piano qualified since it was old samples, but a new VST, they never answered, so I guess not. That's OK since it wasn't really new to be fair.
My inet buddy / occasional colaborator put out Marie Ork which is kinda cool. Perfect for scoring Lord of the Rings knockoffs!

The problem I have with this challenge thing is I'll download a bunch of them. Then when I go to install everything, be clueless as to what they are.

I have been using Roth-Air and I like it especially on BV's and Lead Vox.
Like Bit said, don't go mad but dial it in to taste and it lifts the track really well especially after a de-esser
