In This Morning's Mail

The new EP, "Lights From the Sky" by Touchstone (I know one or two other fans lurk on this forum ). There is nice artwork on a quad gatefold card CD packaging, signed by the band (on pre-orders) and containing lyrics, band details etc. Just like the old days. This is the first new music from them since Kim Seviour left for health reasons and Rob Cottingham went off to form Cairo.

It sounds excellent, New voaclist Aggie and keyboard player Liam Holmes gel into a band heavier than the old Touchstone. Moo's bass and Henry's drums stand out throughout.

There are 4 tracks, over 20 minutes of music. There are two versions of the titke track, the second "Swiatla z Neiba" is sung in Aggie's native Polish. I think her voice is more expressive than on the English version.

There are a few gigs, London, Bilston and St Helens before Christmas, unfortunatly I can't make any of those, I am hoping for a more extensive UK tour in 2017.

I think I already have this one on my "to get" list...  I bought Cairo's Say last month.  Is this available as a download yet?
