It has become apparent that they are not going to "color code" the keys, but maintain the stupid little blurbs above the keys...not a wise move on their part I'm afraid

I have a Kontrol keyboard and I still want the color codes on the screen back...

I still have the version before they removed the color coded keys. Everything works fine. I'm not updating until I'm forced to, because I want some hot new library.

OTS 12 string for example, will not work with anything but the latest. I found out the hard way and when I looked at my Kontakt DLL it was dated last year, in spite of the latest update to Kontakt via the NI update app, which ONLY updated the stand alone! After digging around, I found a thread in the NI forum that pointed me to the stand alone updates which brought the dll up to the latest release. I am kinda hesitant to update if my plug in doesnt get updated

Also, didn't see anything about the Font Size changes. Fortunately, they did add the Global Purge button back.

I'm in the middle of the November release mess (CA-2A crashes, dropouts, stuttering, pops, clicks, etc.) and I'm reluctant to throw another variable in the mix.. Still waiting for a fix from the bakers.

On the Native Instruments website it says that Kontakt 5.6.5 has text legibility improved but I don't see that in the list of fixes. Can anyone here confirm that the font sizes are now larger and/or easier to read than 5.6.1?

I'm trying to install Kontakt 5 Player on Windows 7x64 but it hangs when trying to install Visual C++. I have to Ctrl+Alt+Del to close it. Solution was to run as administrator! Installation successful, however, it won't run: The program can't start because api-ms-win-i1-1-0.dll is missing... Is it not compatible with Win7?

The return of the fully colored keyswitch keys will be the only new feature in K6. All will buy.
Tangled roots perplex her ways. Focusrite Saffire Pro 24 DSP, Windows 10 x64, i7 5820k, Asrock X99 OC Formula, 16 GB Corsair DDR4, Asus STRIX GTX 970, SSD's for OS and samples, Akai MPK61, and myriad VST's.
