New Compressor - whats best Boz or McDSP?
OK question for you guys who have played with either of these compressor "bundles" - I have a coupon to spend - what would be best to get do you think - the McDSP 6030 ULTIMATE COMPRESSOR Bundle or the Boz Manic Compressor?? Any views welcome! Cheers Nigel

I can't say, but when I opened an account with Boz last month I had something like a 30 day period to purchase at half price. This was while the sale was on. And the 50% applied to the sale price, so I got it for a quarter of the price. I posted and another poster tried and picked up more than the Manic and something else. So the offer applied to more than one thing. When I then rechecked, I was no longer illegible for the offer. So it seems a one time, but more than one item applied policy.

Tough choice...both are great. But if you follow kamikaze's advice you can probably still get the Manic for $37.50 Hard to beat that deal.

If you could buy it for that I'd have already bought it...it's $74.50 at half price...and the sale is over

Thanks guys - my coupon is at JRR - they have the McDSP for 79 less discount less coupon, which is about $30 to me The Boz Manic Compressor from them is full price, 149 less discount (I presume) less coupon, about 100 to me. Think I might try the McDSP stuff and see how it goes - never used any of their stuff before so that will be a positive!! Cheers Nigel

Don t laught but i would suggest , according to price , mcdso channel g : you all the channel goodie , gate filters differnts type of eqs and compression : regular knees , channel , bus comp ( both ssl ) , neve , api ....
I m pretty surprise by the quality of this baby , do try it ...
I also went for the ultimate channel , those comps are exellent and light on cpu ...the froggie sound real close to ssl , the 76 is exellent , there a neve also .... good bang for the buck and exelent workflow ...simply try them àd see if it feets
For sale (PM me) : transfert ilok includedEventide Ultrachannel make offersSoftube Summit EQIK Neve 1081 , Neve precision Comp/LimEastWest GoshtwriterSoundforge Pro 12
