X-Touch set up in SPlat help please - solved

I followed all of the threads on here and Craig Anderton's very helpful YouTube video but cannot get the X touch to work in Sonar.
I even tried it on my laptop as I have Splat running on that too - nothing. So, I tried downloading and installing the free version of Studio One and it worked perfectly immediately. Back to Sonar - nothing.
I am replacing a Tascam FW1082 that I have been using purely as a control surface and it works pretty well.
I am using Splat 2016-11 (latest update) on Windows 10.
Is there anything I am missing in the Sonar settings?

I assume my post on setting it up was one of the ones you saw.  But we cannot tell you if you are missing anything unless you first tell us what you have done.

Thanks Riojazz - I deleted the aud.ini and cakewalk.ini files and voila - it's working.
Your post was/is very helpful - I think my configuration was so bogged down with getting my old control surface to play nicely that the reset was just what it needed.
