Thinking about purchasing Sonar Platinum or MC7 for home demoing songs. Which one is better for Windows 10 64bit?

For me the decision would center around how ambitious my goals for creating home demos are what I'm willing to spend to get there. Do I want to record a complete band or just record myself? How important is producing a professional quality master to me? Then I'd compare the features of both tools. For me the decision came down to the suite of plugins that ships with Platinum and the Pro Channel stuff. Whatever you choose, you can do great stuff with either package.
