Since re-installing Sonar after rebuilding my computer I keep getting this pop up

Since re-installing Sonar after rebuilding my computer I keep getting this pop up: The above audio device was disconnected from your system.

What is causing this and how do I fix it?

Thanks

Disabling HDAudio in Device Manager doesn't work as it disables ALL audio.

Did you reinitialize your aud.ini file?  If not, try renaming it aud.bak and starting Sonar.  Sonar will scan your computer for audio hardware.

Something tells me that Sonar does not see any drivers that it recognizes installed for your audio interface.  Did you download and install the latest audio drivers for your PC after rebuilding, or are you using the Windows default drivers?

DAW: CbB; Sonar Platinum, and others ...

I just re-installed the Realtek audio drivers and all appears to be working as expected now.  Thanks everyone for all the suggestions.
