copy tempo changes from 16 bit project to 24 bit

I have some songs I started recording in a 16 bit project I know that when you copy them to to a new 16 bit project the tempo changes can be copied too. So how can I copy the tempo changes to a new 24 bit project in sonar ?

    I believe that you just copy them the same way.  Tempo has nothing to do with bit depth.

    I'm unable to change the bit rate of a preexisting sonar project or copy from a 16 bit project to a 24bit project so I'm bouncing down the audio files all good. But I would like to somehow use tempo data changes from a 16 bit project in a 24 bit project how would I do that?

    I figured it out saved it as .mid file & opened it in new project
