Track Layers Solution?

Hi everyone,

Is it possible to set up the console to use for example, 16 tracks on different layers instead of scrolling back and forth so much for projects with many tracks?  I just completed a 72 track mix plus about 10 busses and navigation through the tracks is tough on my eyes.  I'd prefer to access layer one and see up to 16 tracks of drums, access layer two and see 16 tracks for bass and guitars, access layer 3 and see up to 16 tracks of vocals...etc.  Is this something I could do with Lenses or Screensets...I forget what it's called now.  I think this would help my workflow on just about any project.

Thanks!

Donny

I think you are talking about folders for the Console View. Not to sure how that would work.

Another possibility is to set up screensets with just those tracks and busses visible that you want. Then you can switch between screensets.

If you just want to see tracks 1 through 8 (I have a CS that has a bank button to move 8 tracks at a  time) you can use lenses to do that. Then another lens for 9 through 16 and so on.  For me though using the CS is both quicker and simpler. CW added WAI (where am I) a long time ago to help CS users.
