Dance, Dance, Dance

Hi. This is my a bit newer stuff. The name is a bit misleading, but my tune names often are. There is a bit of dance elements I think though. Enjoy and I welcome comments:)

Like the chorus...a lot. The verses need a little more focus, I think. They feel like they are more stream of consciousness rather than a focused melody and direction. You've got some good sounds in this, just needs a little more focus and polish.

The title is fine, if you just add "awkwardly in an elevator." Which is how I like to dance!

The uptempo chorus? part is really great! I really like that section. I'd agree that the "verse" kind of meanders a bit but it's far from unpleasant. I think you should have reversed proportions - the uptempo part should be 2/3 and the quieter meander could be 1/3.

I may have mentioned this before, but if you watch the Tennis Channel they have very cool uptempo music very much like yours, which I think is excellent.

cheers,
-Tom

As a dance track the uptempo bit should be more the focus with a nice little breakdown, as you have, for a smaller part.

It has your sound Kakku, thanks for sharing.

Thank you Dan for your nice and probably accurate comment. I might get back to fix this thing when I get creative again.

Thank you Tom for your nice comment. Like I said to Dan, I will try to get back to this when I feel right for that task. I must admit the verse has spots which need a fixing. I have not watched the Tennis Channel, but if their music is as good as mine, I will try to:D

Thank you for your comment, David. I meant it to be a cover of You Were Always On My Mind, by the PSB, but you were close enough.

Nice one, Kakku.  It has your sound, but perhaps a bit more "minor" than usual...  it works.

Antti - this is really good!  I don't know anything about Pet Shop Boys (except I know I had heard something of them years ago), but what you've done here is really nice.

Thank you for your nice comments Reece. I kind of like it myself. I wish I hadn't done the bit odd change on the second verse though.
