Kontakt modulations not working when in Sonar

Hi,
 
I have just brought a Seaboard rise and am setting it up with Kontakt with Sonar X3 Producer.
 
When Kontakt is in standalone mode I can create a poly aftertouch modulation for volume, and Kontakt will respond to the changes in pressure on the Seaboard.
 
When I run it in within Sonar as a plugin, with the exact same patch settings it doesn't do anything. The bar that tracks the modulation doesn't move at all. Am I missing a setting somewhere to get this work?
