How to insert a note over C8 key ?

Hello, everyone

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!!

I have one question

I am using Sonar and in staff window,
I can insert a note on the sheet

But how can I insert a note over C8 ?
Above C8, it is not shown because it is over the top limit of the staff client area

And if I successfully insert a note over C8, it is not shown on the client area
How can I make it shown on the staff client area????

I really don't understand why Sonar S/W developers made Sonar like this....

Please help me and thank you in advance

What I would do is insert another MIDI track, move it to the top, then in Staff view, click Pick Tracks and show both the empty MIDI track and the track you're working on.
Or use the Piano Roll view (PRV).

The PRV goes up to G10, so I'd use that, only because I don't really work with Staff View

You can place these notes on a separate track into "normal" area and use MIDI track transpose ("key" in the inspector) (probably what Greg has recommended).

May be because they could not imagine some people are going to create scores like this (I mean C9 without Octave sign looks, let say "hard to read", but in private I will use other words to describe how it looks like )
