SSD pricing fluctuations

Anyone have an idea on the ebb and flow of SSD prices? They feel a little high to me right now. I need a new one because my 250 is bursting at the seems but I don't want to find out the prices drop significantly in the next couple months..

this has been discussed elsewhere... they are going up and will continue to do so for he coming year due to the shift over to 3d nand and spiraling demand... just google... lots written on this... buy now.  It ain't gonna be better for awhile...

Samsung Evo 1TB SSD was going for about $340 for close to 2 years (maybe more?) dipping to $320 around Black Friday last year,
Between Black Friday and XMas of this year (2016) Amazon had it for $249.
Now Amazon has it for $328, NewEgg for $319. So except for the holiday sale at Amazon - prices are currently lower that they've ever been.

Haven't been reading up on this so I can't talk about projected trends, etc..
All I know is if demand is going to kick up, prices will kick up, factories will tool up, market will eventually saturate, and then prices will fall, probably to much lower than they are now.  Just like they did for big screen TVs, but you probably don't want to wait the one, two or more years before that happens.

    Samsung is probably king:

    Samsung MZ-75E1T0B/EU 850 EVO SSD 1TB (6,4 cm (2,5 Zoll), SATA III) ... 334 EUR

but what about the noticably cheaper:

    Crucial MX300 1TB ... 267 EUR

    ???

I ended up going with the 850 Evo 500GB. Hard to believe it's faster than the Intel SSD I already have. I'll have to be careful not to blink

Where are you shopping Radio Shack?
Monoprice is sell the 850 Evo iTB for $309.99
and it's 15% off today, Sunday.   Don't think I've seen a lower non-Black Friday price.
