Wish I could

do a paint job like this.
It was done by a certified Taylor repair tech on a custom made bass he built.
I've sent him a mail questioning if he painted the fret dots too? Seems like it to me. I don't know if that's something new but it is to me.
That metal flake spraying...wow...just something I need to learn how to do. It fascinates me. I don't know why but it seems if one could spray that they could probably spray most anything- but I don't know.

    Nice!
What got my eye about Brian's is the size of the flake. It reminded me of the old motorcycle helmets.

I have a few factory Fenders that are metallic but nothing in yours or Brian's size of flake.

I also have a few paint guns that I've never used...no excuse...just need to decide to get serious I guess.

Well it was a good question Bapu. I could understand one preferring a paint finish. Since that wasn't an option for you, you raised my curiosity. I do hope it's a very good bass for you...after all I was up against some excellent competition/comparison. Personally I love the Purple Heart over flake any day:)
