This is an upgraded version of a previous track... You've removed that now so can't compare, but, from memory, this is somewhat longer. And there is a lot more to the rather interesting arrangement. So many genres in here and I'm not even sure what I would call this to be honest. I liked the orchestral stuff later on .

Honestly, I'm not sure what you were after here.  It kind of sounds like you were just experimenting.  I apologize if there was more to it than that, because I just didn't get it.

Well there is one thing you can't say about this track and that is dull  with each part you are not quite sure what you are going to get, in a good way.

:D:D To be honest, there are two places where there is silence and I can't figure out how to remove a couple measures.  NO won told me how to do it.  It's one of those peculiarities of sonar.

gotta know the rules of the game before you can play it.  That was the gist of the dream.  For that matter, you need to no whether it's football or soccer or tennis or baseball..  The euro's don't know football!  And I don't no soccer!

Interesting experiment, possibly something that could be used by a extemporize dance group.

Nice and avant-nutty. Here's my question: you have included traditional snare and kick, but mixed them very very low . . .

If you use traditional snare and kick in what is a pretty traditional pattern, you are setting the listener up to anchor their understanding that this piece should be more or less traditional "verse/verse/chorus" . . . but it's not.

I think it hurts the avant-gardity to have low-mixed regular snare in there. It could be more spectacularly atypical to have metal thwack or dripping drops or god knows what-have-you for the rhythm section.

    Just a thought, I dunno.

    cheers,
    -Tom

I must admit that sometimes I can't see the forest for the trees.  That's where I was with this song until today.  Now, I can't get it out of my head, although it's not like a melody that you hum all day.  It's that herky-jerky flow that I keep hearing in my head.  I'm glad I listened to this 3 or 4 times first, it grows on you.

    All the best,
