SONAR Home Studio - sounds of multiple tracks

SONAR Home Studio, Windows 7 Home 32 bit.
I am going to record accompaniment. I hear sounds from current track, and from previous tracks, when I press a key on the my MIDI keyboard.
I have to make recording track SOLO, But I can;t hear sounds  from previous track.
What can I do?
Thanks

Try fiddling with the input echo button, should be near the solo/mute buttons.  Aside from that, mess with the input setting for all the tracks you're not currently trying to record to.  Not at my music machine at the moment but from memory these are the things I would check first.

If you press solo you will only hear the soloed track.

Getting the hang of how any DAW handles recording midi takes a bit of time.
As always read the help files that will show in the lower right hand corner as you hover the mouse and take advantage of the videos.
Sonar ( and Home Studio) have not changed much in a long time in the way you insert and set up MIDI tracks and output to Soft synths so even the old info is good.
