Sonar X3 stop midi sequnce sound bleeding into next bar

Hi Folks, need help, hopefully I explain this correctly, say for example i record a Zeta sequence for two bars then guitar for third bar, how do I get the zeta sequnce to stop dead at the end of the two bars, currently the dealy echo and fade of the sequence drfits into the third bar where it is unwanted? Thanks a mill folks, I have tried googling before asking :-).

bounce/freeze the zeta clip, then split where you want it to stop and mute/delete the later part

or use fader automation or automated mute to bring down the level of the zeta track right where you want it to be gone
