Sonar Producer and Logitech G13 controller

Trying to get a Logitech G13 to act as a controller for transport and views. The only button association that seems to take is the Play button. Both my son and I have tried to make various functions work from the G13 yet we are unable to have Sonar respond to anything but the Play or rewind actions.
 
I was trying to get the Console, track, marker and synth views to open via a key binding (ALT+8), by recording a macro (for ALT+8), or even trying to record ALT+V+S.
 
Nothing so far has worked, and we are both beginning to wonder if we are missing something in SONAR, not the Logitech software. The controller works fine on games such as Portal, Power and Glory, The Babylon Project, Farcry..... the list goes on.
