Backing and mix is really very good but I'm not 100% sure on the lead sound, sorry Steve.

Thanks daryl, that was a cheap strat, I think. Going directly in through a sonar auto wah. Mostly experimenting. Must have been about thirteen years ago

The track is great mate. Just the lead bugs me :)
You'd rather I was honest with you right? :)

He'll Yeah, it's hard to get honest answers from some folks! I liked your steely dan number BTW, they were a big influence along my musical path, I remember hearing reeling in the years in the car with my mom when I was 7 or 8 years old and asking her what all the instruments were. She didn't know and I was lead on a lifelong path of musical discovery. My tastes are quite eclectic now but still love the dan

I love it! I can understand the reactions to the lead tone, but.....I love it!

The track is well crafted and certainly well mixed, nothing pings out to these ears. I do have to agree about that lead tone, maybe because it is so distinct and unusual. My thoughts are that it would probably work better if it was used sparingly, maybe between the links of each section.

But all in all I enjoyed the listen.
