Sonar Platinum Crashing During Attempts to Save or Export

I'm having problems saving and exporting with Sonar Platinum. Every time I attempt to do either of those tasks, Sonar Platinum crashes. As of today, January 13, 2017, I have the latest version of the program. I am running it on a Dell Inspiron laptop with 8 gigs of ram, a Scarlett sound card, ample prosesser speed and a TB of storage. No other audio program I have,  including both Adobe Audition on the high end and Audacity on the low end, malfunction in this way. It strikes me that, as not allowing save and exports is a common means of curtailing the unauthorized use of demo programs by unregistered users, my program may somehow still not be fully functional. Does anyone know how I might be able to determine whether or not this may be the case? Thank you.

    - I would start by looking at the export options.
if 64 is checked, then uncheck it just as a test to see if this works.

    - If your using fast bounce / try regular real time bounce instead.

    - it could be a plug in. sometimes those will crash upon export.
try disabling ones you might think could be causing a problem.

    - Also make sure you are up to date on your C++ library's (Microsoft updates)

    - Make sure you have the latest drivers for the Scarllet.

    - what version of windows are you using ?

    - I could be wrong but I believe there is an issue with the Dell Inspiron and Sonar upon export.
Something to do with Dell's back up system. or possibly bloatware (McAfee) .
