rapture update not allowing me to choose 64 bit

Hi,
I am trying to reinstall rapture. However, when I try to install the latest update from the products list, it doesn't give me an option to choose 64 or 32 bit, and only installs 32 bit. I originally installed 64 bit, so when this happens it messes up the install. Any help?
Thanks,
-Michael.

When installing from the Command Center, unless the Verbose Install option is set, Rapture should install the version appropriate for the OS.

When running a 64bit version of Windows and the Verbose Install option is set or the installer is run manually, there should be a screen to select 32/64bit install.

When running 32bit Windows, there is no option to install 64bit Rapture.

    Hi,
Sorry, actually it was dimension pro haha. I just remembered wrong as I installed these a little while ago. I'm installing from the old version of dimension pro (starting with 1.10, then 1.2 from the downloads list) because I'm not sure 1.5 is compatible with some of the assistive  technology I use. If I need to open a new topic (or somehow edit the subject of this one) just let me know.

The original DPro was 32bit only. The first 64bit version was part of the v1.2 update.

I do not believe the UI changed from the original DPro to v1.5. For Windows users, the major difference between older versions and v1.5 was the DX format was dropped.

Was 1.2 to 1.5 also the transition from wav to flac for the multisamples?

Pretty sure that is the case but DPro v1.5 supports both audio file formats.

    Hi,
Late getting back, but when I installed the dimension pro that came with sonar 8.5 producer (the serial number started with cwdm-1.10 so I assume it's a 1.1 version on the cd) I can choose 64 bit. However, when installing the 1.2 update it won't let me choose that. I'll try with the command center, though this one will be with a different serial number from the one I currently have installed.

    Hi,
I just tried installing from command center, and got a weird situation: It went to install, extracted the setup files, then did something very fast (I'm assuming it didn't actually install, as it was too fast) but then said 'Installation successful.' I tried re-running it from the downloads folder, and it brought me to an install or cancel button, I clicked install. Then it brought me to a language selecter, I select english and clicked ok, and the installer completely disappeared. Looking in control panel, I have dimension pro 1.2 installed, and no trace of 1.5. Help?
    -Michael.
