Upgrading Melodyne Essential to Editor
Upgrade done on website. Essential looks uninstalled. I see melo 4 editor in a folder now. But when I open a project and use melo 4 editor in a clip, i get essential again????? Huh? I deleted all things Melodyne using Control Panel. At least I thought I did. Any help appreciated.
Some people call me Maurice SPLAT Pro lifetime, ADK 6 core 3.6Ghz with 32 GB RAM, SSD 1TB system drive, 3 3TB regular drives for samples, recordings and misc. Behringer X Touch, UAD Apollo Quad. 2 UAD2 Quads PCI (i think - inside the box whatever that is), Console 1. More guitars (40??) and synths (hard and soft) than talent. Zendrum!!!

Unless they changed how they do things (definitely possible), when upgrading, Celemony bakes a specific download for you with your registration key. Did you get a specific download for your Melodyne Editor from the Celemony site?
ASUS ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC), i7-8700k, 16GB RAM, GTX-1070Ti, Win 10 Pro, Saffire PRO 24 DSP, A-300 PRO, plus numerous gadgets and gizmos that make or manipulate sound in some way.

There is also one set of files for Melodyne. The license determines the feature set. I am not sure it is possible to tell by inspecting the installation which feature set is enabled. It is only shown when running the software.

There must be hidden files somewhere. I removed it using the melodyne uninstaller. I used control panel to find any melodynes anywhere. Reinstalled. Getting essential again. Ughhhh.

Try running Melodyne stand alone. Rescan VST in Sonar.
