speaking of sterile pastiche, I'm thinking of grafting my latest reggae masterpiece with Bananarama's cruel summer. Is that a mashup or is it post modern pastiche? If they teach it in university, it's sterile pastiche, no? If kanye west does it, it's white boy reggae mashup?
