Clarett OctoPre with 18i20??

I have a Scarlett 18i20 (1st Gen) that's been modded by Black Lion Audio and I'm really happy with it. I'd like to add more channels and I'm considering the new Clarett OctoPre. It looks like it will interface with the 18i20 through ADAT, but I'm wondering if Scarlett Mix Control and (more importantly) Sonar Platinum will recognize the additional channels and treat it all as one unit. Does anyone have a clue about this? I've emailed Focusrite, but so far, no response.
