You probably wouldn't expect it coming from me, but I do like a couple of their songs. I wouldn't buy an album, but I remember hearing a few songs back in the days on Musique Plus (Quebec's version of MTV/Much Music) and I thought they were well-crafted, catchy pop songs. But then again, I can appreciate bubble gum pop.

I think I have their entire discography but, then again, I have the entire discography's of many, many artists from lots of genres! Yes, there are quite a few songs of theirs that I like - can't help it.
Time for all of you to head over to Beyond My DAW!

I think a 'Pet Shop Boys' medley would be too much PSB for me.

Heheh. Now that I'm older I can appreciate their stuff a little more (mostly from a nostalgia perspective). Making fun of the PSB is a long standing metalhead tradition though and it suited this particular derpitude. Looking back at my youth though the mockery probably wasn't the most cunning plan for our budding metalhead libidos... considering all the moody girls who smoked listened to PSB. But I guess that's all part of being a clueless teenage boy. Chicken blocking* one's own self through sheer, juvenile ineptitude. *i believe that's what the kids call it... something to do with poultry anyway

I was the only rocker I knew that liked them. I had one of their cassettes (along with a depeche mode one) stuffed in my underwear drawer like porn, afraid that my friends would find it.

Never...... in my long and musically-eclectic existence have I ever ...... seen the Pet Shop Boys referred to as "PSB". Guess I ain't lived.

I had a dual life from 1980 thru 1983, I was in a rock band and I was also a DJ having to play disco, funk and pop. My band mates had no clue what I was doing in my "other" life, but I was definitely exposed to lots of types of music!
