Select All does not select Synth Automation envelopes

Hi all

Just wondering if someone can verify this.

Create a simple Instrument track (Does not matter which - I used Rapture Pro)
Create an automation envelope for one of that synth's actual parameters.
Select all (CTRL-A)

Everything is selected accept for any synth Automation envelopes

Note: other automation is correctly selected: I.E. The Track's Volume automation envelopes.

This is with Sonar Platinum 2017.01 Build 32 64bit

Windows 10 64bit fully patched, 16 gig ram .
PCR-800 Controller.  (Working in Win 10 1809 64bit)
CPU: i5 4670.
Video: Nvidia GTX560ti (latest drivers).
Audio IF: Focusrite 2i2 2nd Gen

Internet always on.

Software
: Cakewalk by Bandlab (2018.09 B29)
ASIO mode. 24bit 48khz 256 samples
Rapture Pro, AAS GS2, VS-3, EP-4, VA-2, Chromophone 2, Z3TA+ 2, Addictive drums 2, Addictive Keys, Mpowersynth (latest), Iris 2, GPO5, Sampletank 3,

I can reproduce the Simple Instrument Track behavior you are seeing in Platinum 2017.01, Platinum "Allston", Sonar X3e, Sonar X2a and Sonar X1d.

I thought maybe this is a limitation of SIT's, but splitting the SIT into MIDI and audio tracks results in the same Synth automation envelope still not being selected using Ctrl+A.

EDIT: I also tried Edit > Select > All and double-clicking the track number.  Both methods also failed to select the Synth automation.  The only way I could select the Synth automation was by selecting the individual track.

    Hope this helps,

With a split track if you choose Options > Select Track Envelope with Clips, and don't Select All but select the clip (or the track containing the clip, or the folder if you're using a track folder), this will select the automation; the automation will move with the clip. As long as the automation looks selected and Select Track Envelopes with Clips is enabled, the automation will move with the clip.

However I don't think this works with SITs, but I never use them so don't know if there's some way to make this happen.
