Plugin Database not Connected....ruh ro!

Just updated to the latest SPLAT.  After doing so I fired it up and got a "Plugin Database Not Connected" error in the VST scan on startup dialog.  All plugins seem to be there as are my custom plugin folders (which I always backup before every update).  But don't no if I should be concerned by this or not.  Is anybody else seeing such after the latest update???

I had a different type of problem.  When the scan started, I started encountering UAC notices from windows and a good portion of my VSTs were missing. The notices prevented the VST scanner program from completing.  Sometimes it would just hang.

I eventually had to shut off my "User Access Control" and run a manual scan to get everything back - I just don't know how long that will be good for.  Never encountered this before the upgrade  (UAC interference). . .

The most recent Windows update caused a bunch of problems. Can't say this is related but...

Have restarted the DAW this morning and all seems to be hot, straight and normal.  Fingers crossed.

I prefer "hot, sweet & sticky" but I'm glad to see you have it sorted.
I had one of those (database thing) too.
