Send to a new aux track

Regarding 2017.01 fixes, CWK says: "Resolved a crash when reassigning a send to a new aux track".
Yesterday I checked  a snare with "a better gated reverb" as it was described on Friday's tip of the week #64. Sonar crashed as crashed until now 4 times on 5 times  when you apply this technique.
So this issue is not resolved.

    At what point in that process are you re-assigning an existing send to a new aux track? I can't repro a problem in any case, either with Craig's steps or with reassigning a send to a new aux track in general. I'm guessing you have something going on with specific plugins and/or routing in the project that's exposing a different manifestation of the problem. If so, you should submit Problem Report with a reproducible recipe.
