Probably the first song I ever played all the way through with a band was "tonight is a wonderful night."
We had a drummer that could hit those hi notes so we played the heck out of it.
    (and it had cowbell !!)

I played them a lot back in the day.  The band I was in would cover several of their songs and I even knew a few of the leads.

Well, I tried to post a video, but I'm apparently too stupid. But look up "Just Between You And Me". Great song.

Same here. We used to cover "Just Between You and Me". If you know the song, there was a lyric sung in French. During rehearsal we found it difficult to harmonize the part timing wise, as neither of us understood the language. For some silly reason in my mind, I decided that it didn't matter what we sung there as long as it sounded French. Thus, the line was sung in a lame French accent as "Flakey buttery croissant, mean that our love will always be". I clearly remember the first night we did the song, looking over at the lead guitarist who did the harmony part as we sung the line, and he was facing towards me with his eyes crossed almost completely behind the bridge of his nose, singing in a very exaggerated French accent. I lost it completely and spent the rest of the song just gasping out the words. No one in the crowd knew what the hell was going on, but we thought it was just hilarious.

I saw April Wine open for Journey on the Escape tour. They were a lot of fun and a real tight band.

Yep, another bummer!   I always really liked April Wine, and my early cover bands did a lot of their stuff, starting with "Roller", "I Like to Rock", "Sign of the Gypsy Queen" right up to "Just Between You and Me", "Enough is Enough" and "All Over Town".  Great band, highly underrated, if you ask me!

I posted this not really knowing if people knew much about April Wine here in the U.S. I am actually surprised to find so many fans.
