Sonar Platinum unable to fully follow MCU's Bank Left and Right

I own a Mackie Control Universal and previously I was able to Bank my MCU 8 tracks at a time either left or right to see the Console View channels and the Track View tracks move to the left or right until it reached the end of the channels or the beginning.   Currently I have 42 tracks in this project and when I'm looking at the Channel/Track View and when I Bank to the left or right, the screen only shows the channels that are in my immediate view on the screen.  The channels further up or below the current view of Channel /Tracks are never shown on the screen in Sonar.

Is anyone else who is using  a Mackie Control Universal having this problem?  I believed something changed with one of the Platinum updates.  I know the channels used to move all the way in the view to show the very last channel in the Console view & Track View and then move back to show the 1st channel when I banked back to the right 8 channels at a time.

Can those of you with MCU's investigate and let me know if this is still working for you?

It should be when you change bank position you should see it in the CV and the TV. If on the other hand if you select a track in either the CV or TV it should show that track on the MC. Track selection is an important feature of a CS and the MC has a very good LCD strip to inform where one is.

I think its time to request that this work.

    John,

You are correct, when I bank to the end of my channels on the MCU and look for channel 41 this channel does not come into CV or TV when I look at Sonar.   However,  when I then click the "Select" button for Channel 41 on the MCU, I'm immediately shown channel 41 in CV and TV within Sonar.

The problem with this is,  Sonar used to show the full bank movements to the end of the tracks/channels and back to the beginning when Banking with the MCU now somehow this is broken for the Mackie Protocol users.

I think there are enough of us to ask CW to fix this.

I just submitted a problem report to Cakewalk about this, so I hope they fix this in the next update or sooner.

Hm... I can not remember moving WAI region was automatically moving the view. Selection yes, but not just moving WAI. At least not in X3/2017.1
But I do not work with many tracks and I do not have MCU

Also, it used to be the WAI display would skip tracks that were hidden in the track manager and display the next visible track. Now if a track is hidden, it is also hidden in the WAI display. The result is one can adjust a control  that isn't visible on the screen. If any fix is considered in this area, it would be nice if this were corrected as well. This has been broken since 7.2016 update.
