All my audio is missing from my project

Hello all,

I just opened up Sonar Platinum and was greeted by a "Find Missing Audio" box. I only know a few of the names of the audio tracks, so I wouldn't be able to pick them all out of the list..
I have opened other projects and they seem to be OK.
I tried to search for a solution here on the forum, but nothing seems to fit my problem. Maybe I've missed something?

Is there a way I can find the missing tracks. Maybe by date? - I know the last time I worked on the files.

Thanks in advance for your time.

Have you checked "Project Audio Files" under the File menu? There might be some useful information there that will help you locate the missing files.

The thing your missing is always use per project folders and the audio will ALWAYS be right where it belongs. Otherwise it's a jumbled mess inside the global audio folder.

Once you get this sorted take any projects you have that don't have there own folders and use "save as" and check the Copy audio with project box. Save them to there own folders.

    Thanks for your input.

I do save in projects. I'll check the Project Audio Files under the File menu.
Also, I'll try the Cakewalk Audio Finder. Is that what CWAF means? I saw the term in another post and was mystified.

I'll let you all know how things go.
