Custom Module Control Bar Question (Solved)

Hello,
Perhaps someone can enlighten me...I open a project from a Project Template.  I change one Command in the Custom Module and save the Template again.  But when I open the same Project Template the next time, the changed Command has reverted back to what it was before the change.  I guess the simple question is how does one save the Custom Module settings?
Thanks,

When you save, are you 100% sure you're saving it AS a template AND in your templates folder?

    The Lens feature.
If you have a saved /loaded Lens preset, it will become a global setting.
Try selecting Lens > None. then repeating the process.
