L-Phase EQ and Virtual Instrument AD2

So I added the L-Phase EQ into a project with virtual drums (AD2), interestingly once enabled I begin to hear missed notes of the virtual drums. I tried placing the EQ in different sections of the project from the drums track itself to the subs and master but have had the same weird missed note syndrome.  It is completely random and does not happen in the same places. As soon as I disable the EQ it plays fine. I have not seen any spikes in CPU or memory usage either. I can apply other EQs I have with no issues, any thoughts? Thank you

Up your midi buffers to at least 500ms from 250ms in Prefs

Also make sure you set the Precision option under Expert Mode to "Non Linear".  The latest update provides two folders of presets, and the one called "Mixing" has the included presets set to Non Linear by default.

The default setting when you first insert the plugin is to use a linear mode.

The look ahead buffering delay required by the linear modes makes it all but impossible to use with soft synths.

I was initially in the Master presets which did default to medium precision. I switched to non linear and it fixed it immediately. I then bumped my midi delay to 500ms and switched back to medium precision and it was able to play fine. When I bumped precision to high the drop outs started happening again lol. Definitely a fine balance in there. Thanks for the support its appreciated :)

The linear modes are really intended for mastering, after all tracks are in final audio form.  Trying to use it during tracking with virtual instruments could be a problem.  There is really not much to be gained by using linear while recording a track.

There are probably some experts around here who could explain this better.
