Latest Sonar Update...
I finally got round to updating to the latest version of SPlat tonight. I'd been holding off for a bit after being a little bit put off with some of the minor gripes here. Anyway, when I started Sonar, it was as though it was being run for the first time, asking me to set up my audio interface, amongst other things, and the Tungsten theme was active, even though I always use Mercury. From memory, this is the first time this has happened, where I have had to reconfigure hardware and reset my theme back to Mercury. I was just wondering why... Not a major issue, at least I hope not... I might have a check through some of my other customisations too, like keyboard shortcuts.

I'm assuming this is the January release and I haven't missed one. When I updated everything ran as normal and I didn't have the same experience as you. Strange!

Funny, for me it was the opposite. I use Tungsten exclusively & with this update it was switched to Mercury. Also none of the track or buses vu meters worked until I switched themes.

I'm not sure why, but I had the same experience. Having said that, everything has been working smoothly. I don't have any custom shortcuts so I cant comment on whether yours will be intact or not - good luck!

Only issue I had was it "lost" Breverb 2. Any existing projects I had to re-insert the effect into.

Not just me with a little bit of strangeness then. Nothing major to report, yet... My current project appears to be running okay. Nothing else to report and I just need to catch up on what the updates where, see if I am missing something useful Keyboard shortcuts are all intact and as I left them. I actually set a lot of my keyboard shortcuts to "do nothing" because I got fed up with my big fat fingers doing things I wasn't expecting...

i had the usual (of late) need to reset my theme after the update. i thought i read that that issue was fixed, but apparently not. no big deal just change the theme back, annoying all the same. other than that it seems fine for the little time i use it

Did you skip any updates? The new setup routine you saw was first was introduced with wasapi exclusive in 2016-11 I believe.

Ah, thanks Bruce, yes, I did skip one. I wasn't in a rush to update at the time as everything was running reasonably smooth. I only went for this latest update because I fancied the ability of playing a long MIDI note from anywhere along its length. cheers andy

It did this to me on my last update, which was 22.11.0.111. I was worried in case it changed any other settings, but nothing else stood out as being different.
