Fault Reporter weirdness

Was running a project with 4 tracks, two of which were midi... I added a soft synth (RX1) and Sonar froze -- the fault reporter window opened up asking me if I wanted to save a log.  Since it was the first time it had happened, I did not save it, but when close down the window, it wouldn't let me. I then tried to close the complete Sonar program, but was unable to, so I  opened up task manager in order to do so.  When I checked the processes tab, the fault report had replicated itself 26 times.  Rebooted and tried to see if I could replicate the problem with a different plug in (Glaceverb) and got the same results.  Could this have something to do with the inserted synth or plug in being 32 bit?   I'll have to try again tonight, but I hope its limited to those two plugs...And why would Fault reporter show up 26 times???  weird.
Thx...

A little more info on your specific project might help get better responses to your inquiry.
Like what version of Sonar you are running, as well as what interface and system specs.
When you say you added a soft synth, are you adding this while sonar is playing back your project or song stopped?

I don't know the answer, but you are not alone. Quickest way to get rid of the fault reporter messages is to right click on the icon in the taskbar  and select close all windows option. You might also want to check how much crap it has dumped into your system queued windows error report folder - if you see your available hard drive capacity shrinking rapidly based on my experience this will be why.
