z3ta+ - How to save midi automation settings?

I've worked out how to map CC11 to the Oscillator level control so that I can use Midi Expression to fade in/out the sounds...
How do I save this setting?
I've tried the 'save' icon at the top - it says 'overwrite preset' but doesn't seem to save it
I've tried the 'save program file' option from the Program button at the bottom, but when I reload the saved program, it has lost the midi mapping.

Is there something else I'm missing?

Cheers,
Paul

I tend to use the preset manager built into the plug-in when one is available. Zeta+ Classic has it build into the Program button at the bottom right of the UI. Zeta+2 has the Program button in the upper right of the UI. SONAR has a generic VST preset manager in the VST drop down which I fall back to for the few VSTs that lack built in plug-in managers. I rarely use the preset manager to the left of the VST drop down for VST plug-ins.

Thanks,
Using the Program button bottom right appears to save FX changes, but not Midi Learn assignments.... Very frustrating.
If I use the 'save program' option, do I still have to open the synth and manually load this eacj time I open the project?

Amazing, thanks 'b rock'

That has sorted the problem.
Apologies, I thought I did search for other articles on z3ta, but either I must have mistyped something, or the search function wasn't working correctly at the weekend because I couldn't find any articles for z3ta, but today I can see lots in a search??

Anyway, really pleased to have solved this, thanks again!
