Plugins Browser right click oddity?

Catching up on new features, ran into a puzzle. The right-click in plugin browser works for all the categories except Audio FX.
Anyone else see this behavior?

Thank You

    Well that was quick....
    i resolved this after this post :)
    -In the browser, I selected sort by a different criteria and after going back to the "sort by category"
    the ability to right click and see the context dialog became available.

    maybe this helps someone else?

    Soooooo..... I find I am talking to myself (maybe a multiple personality disorder)
    I spoke to soon. If I select my desired plugin layout which I made in the {Utilities>Cakewalk Plugin Manager}
    I cannot use the right click functionality, only when I let it revert to a blank preset selection in the browser....

    The right-click option is available when the plug-in list is set to "Sort by Category".

    I found it useful when initially throwing plug-ins into Categories keeping in mind I was going to nest the categories using the layout manager in the Plug-in manager.

    Should nesting become a feature in "Sort by Category," I will be able to abandon the Plug-in layout manager.

    Had there been an option to fully replicate the behavior prior to the new system, i.e. VST3 Sort by category, VST2 sort by directory, DX sort by vendor, I would not have had to mess with any of it. But I lost that discussion.

    What I found "odd" is that Cakewalk's "Sort by Category" is a bit incomplete as there's a lot of extra plugins (some clearly marked as to what they are, like REVERB, EQ, etc.) placed in "Uncategorized".

    Personally I prefer to sort both synths and FXs by TYPE hoping Sonar really knows the difference between VST and DirectX.

    Sort by Categories is an extension of the category tag system implemented in the VST3 specification. Most VST3 plug-ins have a category tag that is picked up by the vst scanner. DX and VST2 plug-in must be manually categorized. Cakewalk added default categories for quite a few DX and VST2 plug-ins still there are quite a few that are not in the database. Those plug-ins end up in the uncategorized folder.
