Boy, that's a really lively piece, I listened twice, just super groovy. I know they are not "castanets" but whatever those finger cymbals are, maybe they would fit in better with just a little reverb, or more reverb? Thanks for cooking that one up! -Tom

Very cool! I love the combination of electronics and ethnic instruments. Nice effect with the panning on the percussion around 1:30, too. Well done.

Hi guys, just so you know, this is not really turkish music, just turkish instruments. same as what I did for african sub saharan music ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvVna6h8T80 ), which is just whatever sounded african to me. Glad you guys liked it.

Very cool! I've always had an affinity for instruments like this. The rhythms are interesting, and whether Turkish or not, fit the mood perfectly. Well done.

Sounded pretty authentic to me. Love the sound of that instrument. Were you using a particular Middle Eastern (or similar) musical scale?

I liked it... But I've always liked "ethnic" music/instruments, coming from an American perspective. I had no idea what a Ney was, but I do recognize it now! Really well done getting lots of little inflections in there. Mix-wise the only nit I have is that it all sounds a bit "soft", like the transients (particularly with the percussion) are a bit lost.
