Aria

My baby girl turned 3 today. Here's a song I wrote for her. She's a mini-dynamo with constant energy, so maybe some hardcore punk would have been more appropriate but I think she likes it as it is.

    Dan, congratulations, this is a lovely song for your daughter.  It's well recorded and well played.  The only thing I noticed is the rather long and noisy fade-out.  Otherwise, this is a gem.

    Vocals are great! Especially the high melody in the chorus! Guitars are mixed really well in this.
     
    You might try to move around the drum pattern a little more, to make it swing - I think it might be a little straighter than the song? Maybe some really swingtime fills? 
     
    The organ pad in the background is very well in place, supportive. nice!

    Thanks for the comments! Yeah on second listen it definitely needs some further edits and polish. I took too much low end out and narrowed the stereo image for low frequencies, so it's lacking warmth. And yeah totally forgot to fade out the guitar at the end....sloppy!

    Very nice...  I really enjoyed that!   Fade-out aside, it sounds really good too.

    Good song and mix. I would turn up the vocals just a bit, if it was me.
