EZKeys Bundle Pack Questions
I received email that Toontrack has a 3-pack piano bundle on sale. Sale price for 3-pack bundle is $239, which is $60 more than a single-piano. I don't have this program. Is this bundle price point a good bargain to jump into this program? Or maybe save the $60 and stay with the single-piano? You can pick-and-choose your pianos for this bundle, but it seem like their existing standard bundle might be a good one: Grand, Upright, Electric (Rhodes, Wurlitzer). Any recommendations for other piano choosings? Can you export the EZKeys generated MIDI track into Sonar and assign that MIDI track output to a different plugin? For example a synth? And, how important do you think purchasing additional EZKeys MIDI file packages will be? Can you do a lot with just the default provided MIDI sequences?

On further research (should anyone be interested), the default bundle price is going for $199.00 elsewhere than Toontrack direct.

The Grand is quite nice and I can't comment on the others as I don't have them (although, the demo's didn't impress me enough to get them). For starters, I'd say get the Grand and see if you'd like to get the others.....at some point, they all go on sale at some no brainer price. Once you get the main programme, that's when the fun begins (with all the EZKeys Midi expansions).....be careful, it can be addictive.

Yup, that Grand is a really good Steinway D. On the other hand, I do prefer the Studio Grand, which is a somewhat smaller Steinway B. And the Upright is alright as well, but I'd go for the Vintage Upright and the Small Upright if it were me, which it is. Even the Electrics are OK, but not fab. FabFilter is fab, so listen to the L-man.

Both Steinways and the Vintage upright. The electrics are not forth getting. I do like the pianet in Retro but the Clave is a stinker. Better to get Air Velvet. I have been demoing the Pipe Organ and I really like it for layering with synths for pads and with a Hammond. I really like the small upright. The Indie secret weapon. Cant really say enough about what good software EZ Keys is.

But we urgently need a B3.

It sure is conspicuous by it's absence. I see a (dreaded) Farfisa, Vox Continental pack in the future.
