8Dio Adagio String issues

Hello all, I haven't been able to find anything in a search about this. I am running Sonar PLT with the latest version of Kontakt. Whenever I use 8Dio Adagio Strings it freezes up Kontakt and Sonar for at least a few seconds to a minute and sometimes crashes everything. Anyone else experiencing this? Any suggestions or solutions? I have tried batch resave, loading them first and on and on. Thank for any help you can offer.

This freeze and crash happens when you attempt to load the libraries, or when they are already loaded and you are using them?...Or both?

Just on load up. It just locks Kontakt and Sonar both up and if you click on them they say not responding and most of the time they eventually will start to load up but sometimes they stay locked up and I have to force both to quit. It really sucks when you have a bunch of instances trying to load up.

It may just be busy loading the samples into Kontakt.

It sounds like they are being scanned by antivirus before Kontakt starts to load them. That used to happen to me, also -- pretty much exactly as you described it. I added kontakt files to the exceptions list for Windows Defender, and the problem went away.
