I just got an e-mail with the subject line...
SONAR 2017.02 Update Now Available!
...but I'm only seeing 2017.01 on the download site.
Did we get ahead of ourselves?

Typically, the e-mail goes out a bit after the release goes live. This one seems to have flew da coop early. Nothin' to see here folks.

I also noticed my connection speed to the Command Centre was appalling. Took me back to the bad old days of overnight Sonar downloads.....the horror  Grum

Early update is out now, disappointing from the email I received.
Why the disappointment? In my opinion, these are some great comping enhancements! Probably a great deal of coding was required to make these possible. I'm quite happy with these. But then again, comping may not be something everyone uses as much as I do!

This is why I usually wait a day before updating. We must have been hitting the server pretty hard, because it was much, much slower that normal.
Or maybe they're just using Amazon's server farm service and somebody tripped over a power cable again.

Probably everyone's got it sorted by now, but by default Command Center will only check for updates at a minimum of every 12 hours. So if you checked less than twelve hours before the new update was available, you have to manually check again ("Check Now" on the settings>options tab) for the new update to be found.
