super quick graphics question

In Sonar Platinum (I'm on 2017.01):
 
When you click on either the M, S, or R on the control bar itself, does the track view briefly flash black for you?

    not for me.
    However if I turn on input echo (the tracks in TV) when the transport is rolling there is a slight hiccup.
    This has been happening since X1. So no rocket science there.
     
    Have you tried updating your graphics driver and windows update ?

    Thanks, since I'm new to Platinum am trying to determine what issues I'm having with my graphics card.  I do have the latest drivers but it's still being wonky on me.

    Nope. Probably a quirk of your video adapter.
