Command Center is NOT working. Help!

I love this product and I really am happy I enrolled in the lifetime update package. I really look forward to the updates and additions.

However, over the last couple of months my Command Center is NOT working.  Keeps telling me that I have no valid internet connection which is ridiculous.

It is happening at the same time I am on the Sonar Support site or even when
I am downloading emails or whatever.

I have indeed downloaded and re-installed Command Center and even went into my firewall to make sure it is listed.
All to no avail.
When I try and download an update manually, I can't locate it as it is NOT in my list of registered product.

Can you PLEASE help me.  This is frustrating.  I was on the forum and noticed that others have had a similar issue.
I tried the only solution of re-installing CC, but it was no help.
I am using a PC with Win 7.  It worked fine for months and suddenly stopped.

PLEASE.  Very frustrating.

I have re-installed, tried it at different times over a 24 hour period and literally turned everything off while trying it...and even tried it when I am on the internet doing something else.  Yet, it tells me that I have no valid connection.  It is bonkers!   Half of my life is on the net one way or the other.

Even so, I continue to try Command Center a couple of times a day just on the chance it will look over its shoulder and say, "Hey Man, no problem, I have you covered.  Working fine now!"  Alas, no cigar.

So therefore;  Can I arrange to have any updates or products automatically put in my queue in my registered products area.  I got the recent update that way and it worked smoothly and quickly.

I understand that no one has a solution for me here, I just need to be able to access updates etc the way I used to before this easy convenient Command Center took over my updates.  PLEASE!

you can access all the updates via your user account on the cakewalk site, download them to your computer and install them manually, you don't need to use ccc, there are quite a few people who do it this way. you can also place the update files you download in the folder that ccc uses to store them and let it install them from there

That's how I do it, i.e. keep the download and install processes completely separate. I find CCC to be slow and not very user-friendly.

I don't know if it makes a difference - I installed and run Command Center with the explicit Run As Administrator option set.  (not the same as using a Windows user account that is of type Administrator).

    Might be worth a try,

Ok..may just try that too, though I do run it as Administrator via Windows.
Just for info sake...this is the way it goes...

I Right click on Command Center (as Adminis.)
It says on the status line:  Checking Connection.....
    Then it states:   Validating Session.....
Then without a brass band it says:  No Connection....(You don't appear to have an active internet connection etc.)
Command Center for all intensive purposes sticks its tongue at me and it upsets me.

Now all this takes place while my internet connection is already on having checked my email for the day and various forum status msgs.   Just thought I'd show the actual sequence of events, since I am basically a sequencer (  ;-)  )

Just kind of wondering if anybody was planning on a fix for Command Center or if this is the way it will be from now on?   Great convenience when it worked to have it check for updates etc.  Frustration when it doesn't.  Please, I do not want to complain, just would like it to work.  Thank you.

I am having the same problem. I purchased SONAR artist, and all I got was a demo version because CCC says I don't have internet connection! Phew! Did all the stuff: disabled Firewall etc. ran as administrator etc. Still nothing! Should have made sure I could get on CCC before purchasing. STUCK.

I thought maybe it was because I am situated in Ireland and CW is in the US. Seems that's not the issue. It's unfortunate for those who have purchased Platinum...

Unnecessary. As was pointed out earlier, you have the option of downloading the Sonar installer from your My Products page and ignoring CCC.

That was the problem. After being unsuccessful with downloading CCC, I had downloaded from installer, and all I got was a demo version which I need to verify by going into CCC! Catch 22.
