Caveat more than a Problem

If you remove plug-ins with automation, only to import a new FX chain (non-ProChannel, although that could also be affected), the automation envelope assigned to that removed plug-in is effectively orphaned. Sonar doesn't 'clean up' the orphaned envelope automatically, and doesn't warn before you delete an automated plug-in. Even replacing the plug-in with the exact same plug-in isn't actually the same instance of that plug-in, so the previous automation envelope isn't assigned to the new plug-in. Just something to be wary of.
