VST scanner file (SOLVED see post 3)

During installation of the 2017/02 release 45, the installation stops at VST.exe
if I ignore it, the installation proceeds but there is no VST scan after install.
I have downloaded the installer 4 times now thinking it may be corrupt.
I have uninstalled Sonar taking it right back to include the various Registry entries as per Cakewalk official how to uninstall Sonar.
I'm sure it will be something simple, but in the meantime,
I'm at the end of what else I can do. HELP!

Could it be your antivirus or security software? If you have anything like that running, try disabling it temporarily and performing a clean boot to eliminate any software conflicts.

I don't know why its happened, Anti virus shutdown already done to no effect. Thanks for chiming in though.

    SOLUTION:

Delete files that stopped the installation. They were all in the Cakewalk\shared folder\
    VSTscan.exe, Bitbridge.dll, Bitbridge.exe.
    Everything works fine now.
